High school musicians performing music for nursing home residents.
Mission of the project
Mission of the project
We help match high school musicians who wish to volunteer their time and talents with nursing homes wishing to provide live music for their residents. Music helps stimulate the mind and emotions, and provides benefits for both the listeners and performers. We also seek to facilitate intergenerational experiences.
Peters Creek Retirement Center
We had another warm welcome at Peters Creek. Our performances inluded a quartet, 4 violin soloists, 1 piano soloist, a guitar duet, and a flutist. Unlce Willie was happy to see the young faces again.

We returned to Peters Creek to visit again with Uncle Willie. Our performances included a quartet, 3 violin soloists, and 1 piano soloist.
The Bellettini
We had a warm welcome from the residents of The Bellettini. Our performances included a quintet, a septet, 3 violin soloists, and 3 piano soloists.
The Park at Belle Harbour Assisted Living
The residents at elegant The Park at Belle Harbour welcomed us for a performance comprised of a quintet and 3 violin soloists as well as a piano soloist.
The Inn at Belle Harbour Memory Care
The friendly residents at The Inn at Belle Harbour appreciated our performance from a quintet and 3 violin soloists.
Peters Creek Retirement Center
We performed for the lovely residents of Peters Creek. Our musicians included a quartet, a trio, and one violin soloist.
